Requirements and restrictions
- Valid driver's license requiredA US license is preferred.
- $150 security depositRefunded when the vehicle is returned.
- Damage and cleaningThe deposit is withheld for vehicle damage. A $50 car wash fee applies.
- 1 week advance notice for returnsMonthly plan only.
- Valid throughout San Diego County onlyTrips or travel outside the area are not included.
- Insurance: third-party liability onlyUse your own insurance, or be added to Carental's policy from $20/week (price depends on your driver's license).
